Darci Lynne Farmer first won over the hearts of America's Got Talent viewers with her show-stopping ventriloquist act in 2017. This winter, she'll once again get to show off her insane puppet skills on America's Got Talent
The Champions. But while Darci has become a huge name in the world of ventriloquism, she told Parade that she might be looking to try something new.
When asked what's changed since competing on AGT in season 12, Darci admitted that she's been singing more because it's been a passion of hers from the start ("the start" meaning when she was six). She then said that while having Petunia (the rabbit), Oscar (the mouse), and Edna (the woman) on stage has changed her life for the better, they might not be around forever.
"I'm always going to have the puppets, probably not for the rest of my life, but I'm not going to stop doing ventriloquism anytime soon," she said. "I'm just going to add singing, recording songs, and maybe playing in a TV show."
In fact, she even spilled that she's been in talks with Simon Cowell about recording. "It's definitely a major, major passion of mine, so for that to happen would just be a dream come true," Darci said.
Wherever Darci goes, her fans will surely follow.
